*Background*

Twenty-two years ago, the Hayashi, which was one of the ancient vampire-hunter family was killed by a group of vampires. The only surviver was the little new-born baby girl, and that was because she was in the park with her nurse at that time.

She was left to the care of an orphanage bringing only a letter with her name on it 'Hayashi Keiko' and an antique pendant. The orphanage where she lived in was an old orphanage and also part of an ancient church. The children there was taken good care, and almost treated like important people. But of course, she did not know about it since they weren't allowed to go out. Everyone in the orphanage goes to a special school and spent the rest of their time in the orphanage or the church. The church itself was never opened, but everyday there would be people coming, individually or in small groups.

On one night on her eighth year there, the orphanage where she lived in was caught in a big fire. She does not know what happened, she woke up that night only to be surrounded by smoke. As she staggered out of her room, she saw dead bodies lying everywhere and that made her too shocked to move. One of the sisters there then approached her, giving her a book and her pendant before collapsing to the ground.

What she remembered next was that a pale man took her out from the burning building in fast speed.

Keiko was then adopted by a rich couple who owned a hospital, and her family named was changed into Kitagawa. For a few years, she would cried out loud everytime she saw dead bodies, be it for real or in the screen. With the help of her foster parents, she was able to let go of her fear but the tragedy still haunt her in her dreams sometimes and it still made her scared when seeing large fire. but other than that, she grew up normally just like any other girls, and without knowing anything of her past and origin.

The book she get from the sister was a book that showed how to kill a vampire. She was baffled why the sister gave her the book, but it risen her curiousity on supernatural beings, especially vampires. And as she grew up, she was even more curious about vampires. Her obsession was to meet one, but she does not know how her reaction would be if she ever met a vampire. She believed though that there are good and bad vampires. And sometimes, she fantasized that the man who took her out of the building was a vampire.

Appearance and Personality

Keiko is someone who lives in her own world. She tends to daydream and talks to herself when she's alone. Her thoughts were often somewhere else that she often stumbles and bumps into things. But she is friendly and cheerful once she pops out of her 'world'.

Reading is her pastime, and half of the books in her room is about vampires, be it novels or documentary books. She never gets tired reading about them, and everytime there's a weird death case, she would go to see but she would still keep a distance from the dead body. This was easy for her since her parents owned a hospital and sometimes they would placed the dead bodies on the hospital first.

Aside from being a university student on her last year, she is also a freelance model. She was scouted one day while she was walking around aimlessly and decided to go for it since she had nothing better to do. But she prioritized her studies since she doesn't want to dissapoint her foster parents.

For her appearance, she has a long hair which she dyed brown. she likes to wear clothes with simple colour and doesn't have many printings or accesories on it. And she always wear the pendant.

note :

her future is uncertain. Wether she would know of her family or not will see how the plot flows. Or maybe she had turned into a vamp before knowing about her family... who knows?

and yes, the burning of the orphanage was the doing of some vampires of course after draining the bloods of the people there (but she doesn't know about this part)
